Services Provided: Tree Removal, Domestic Tree Surgery

Location: Romford, Essex

Our tree surgeons in Romford were recently contacted by a domestic client in the area, after one of their large Acacia trees lost a substantial limb during a storm, which crashed onto the client’s garage roof. The tree measured approximately 70ft in height, so careful planning and the right equipment were essential to safely remove it without causing further damage.

Our Approach

To safely dismantle the Acacia, we sectioned the tree down using our specialist tracked MEWP, which provided a stable and secure working platform. Our team also employed specialist rigging techniques throughout the dismantle to control the descent of each section and protect the property below.

We used a chipper to efficiently process the branches on-site, keeping the work area clear and allowing for a smooth operation.

Safety First

Safety was a priority at every stage of the project. A full team briefing was held each day to ensure everyone was aware of the plan and any site-specific risks. We completed a comprehensive SSRA and provided the client with our method statement, SSRA, and insurance documentation before work commenced.

The Result

The Acacia tree was safely removed over the course of two days. All sections were carefully lowered, preventing any further damage to the garage or surrounding property.

The Outcome for our Client

With the hazardous tree removed, the client now has a safe, clear garden space without any further damage taking place.
