Stephen O’Reilly – Proprietor

TechArborA, Dip Arb L4 (ABC), PTI, QTRA, VALID

Stephen is the founder of Crown Tree Services and brings over 15 years of industry experience to the role. 

After starting out in grounds maintenance, he gained his NPTC qualifications in 2010 and officially launched Crown Tree Services in 2013. 

Stephen has since completed a Level 4 Diploma in Arboriculture and holds multiple professional certifications including PTI and QTRA.

Stephen takes pride in delivering the highest standards of arboricultural solutions that align with client goals while maintaining environmental and safety standards. He’s committed to continuous learning and regularly updates his skills to stay ahead in the field.

With Stephen’s knowledge and experience in tree care and outdoor space management, each and every client can be confident that they are in safe and experienced hands.

Matt – Lead Climber

Matt is a highly experienced, skilled Lead Climber with years of hands-on experience and all of the relevant NPTC qualifications. Whether he’s high in the canopy or handling complex tree reductions, his technical ability and love of the job shine through.

For Matt, climbing trees and bringing the client’s vision to life through expert tree shaping and care, is what makes the job all worthwhile.

Tom – Second Climber & Lead Groundsman

Tom has been with CTS for 2 years and holds all necessary NPTC qualifications. A key part of our team on the ground and in the canopy, he ensures that every site is left clean, safe, and to the highest standard.

Tom thrives working collaboratively with the rest of the Crown Tree Services team and seeing the transformation of a garden or site once the job is complete.

Ben – Groundsman

Ben is a highly experienced, dependable and hardworking Groundsman. With a hands-on approach and a strong focus on teamwork, Ben plays a key role in maintaining site efficiency and quality across every project throughout Essex.

Ben loves being an integral part of a hard-working team and providing great service to every client, from one-time tree felling work, to long-term grounds maintenance and tree management.
